Zoo Med Betta Floating Lounge
Zoo Med Betta Floating Lounge
Like the Betta Tunnel, the Betta Floating Lounge also provides a comfortable resting site that will always be an appropriate distance from the surface of the water. The naturalistic bamboo design fits in any habitat and has built in enrichment value as it floats around the habitat.
Fish breathing Air?
In nature, Bettas generally inhabit shallow bodies of water with abundant vegetation, including marshes, floodplains, and rice paddies. In these warm, shallow habitats, oxygen levels are frequently low, which has likely led to the evolution of the lung-like labyrinth organ that allows Bettas (and other Anabantoids) to breathe air at the surface of the water.
